Posts from Marisol De Ornelas, MPH
Marisol (she/ella) is a fierce human rights activist. She is persistent, which fuels her productivity, and sensitive when it comes to injustice, which often means she cares too much – however, she always tries to abide by her personal mantra, “More compassion, less attachment.” She is passionate about the development, evaluation, and dissemination of public health interventions that focus on the life course approach through an equity lens. Marisol joined the Lindau Lab at the University of Chicago July 2020 as a Project Management Specialist and supports the lab’s ongoing research projects. Marisol received her BS in Health Science and Public Health from Boston University and her Master of Science in Public Health at Boston University School of Public Health. Outside the lab, you’ll likely find her cooking Venezuelan arepas, reading the Atlantic, or looking for someone to play tennis with.
