Posts from Jazmin Aceves
Jazmin is an advocate for empowerment, both for herself and the people with which she shares the world. She believes growing as a person is an infinite process, and that humanitarianism and compassion are fundamentals to any pursuit, especially those related to medicine. In June of 2018 she joined the Lindau Lab as a research assistant, a position which presents rare learning experiences within the fields of women’s health and medicine, including how to communicate science with a greater community. In 2021 she earned her Biology degree at Brown University and is now a rising 2nd year Medical Student at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, where she serves on the board of their Latinx Medical Student Association. Alternating between Providence and Chicago, Jazmin has the privilege of learning how to best understand and attend to the social and medical needs of a diverse array of patients, a lifelong endeavor that she is grateful to experience.
